Well the little guy or girl, I still do not which it is LOL, is definitely full of personality LOL. We can pick him up, and play with him, and he is no longer biting nor hissing. The food and light.... and I think handling, are now showing positive results. One more problem, he licked the broccoli, and the dandelion greens, and proceeded to clamp his jaws tightly and turn his head a way. No amount of coaching, or just leaving the vegies in the cage, changed his obvious dislike of these things. So next I need to try the romaine lettuce ; ))) He loved the wax worms though. The UVB light I have is not 5.0.... it was recommended to purchase the 8.0, but I was strapped for cash, after buying the other necessities, and the 3.0 UVB flourescent light with hood I did end up purchasing, with the help of some natural sunlight will have to do for a short time. Just found him racing up and down the side of the cage with his nose practically pasted to the side as he went along, and he jumped up periodically. I was worried perhaps, something was wrong, until I realized he was playing with his own reflection on the glass LOL. So he has come a very long ways in just a short time.
