For future information, a male should not be left with in with a single female, they will bother her to much with constant attempts at breeding. This stresses them out and can jeopardize their health, something you will want to avoid, especially if the female becomes gravid. The recommeded ratio to keep a male with females is 1 male to three females in a tank, and even then the male might have to be removed at times.



Even when the female is not mature enough the male will continue to try and mate, becoming more aggessive and its not worth the risk to her.



Hopefully they did not breed, or if they did it will not take, she really needs more time to put on weight and fat pads to support being gravid and laying.



Give her the fall and winter to grow, rest and be ready for a full season of breeding, the babies and her will be better for it.
