Silkworms

I have been buying 50 large silkworms for my year old bearded dragon. My question to you silkworm feeders is this. How do you prevent them from spinning cacoons? I recently cleaned out their tub three days ago and today I noticed that nine of them had spun cacoons. That is four days worth of food!!!!! Is there anything I can do?
