I have small square gladware containers in my incubator with vermiculite and I am on a schedule that every 4th day I spritz with lids with water to keep it moist. Well yesterday was the day so I spritzed. One of the babies that was born last night is very tiny and still had his egg sack attached. Because the vermiculite was damp it had stuck all over him. I took another gladware container, put damp paper towels in it, Then took the little guy put him in a very little bit of water to wash off the vermiculite and put him in the container with the paper towels and put him back in the incubator. Did I do the right thing?? He has lost part of the egg sack but it looks like there is still part of it attached. He looks so little and tired. How long will it take for the rest of the egg sack to absorb or come off. Sorry so long | ||
