a while back I posted a photo of a snake I received from Rich at reptile basics. The snake came from a litter where roughly half of the babies had a weird pattern and blackish eyes. The other half was completely normal looking. There are 3.4 of these weird looking snakes. Recently, Rich sent me the rest of the litter that I will house here so he can free up some time for his growing cage business(you should check out his awsome cages!) Three males were used(including an anery) to father this litter so its unknown who did the job. The mother of the litter had a completley normal litter the previous year when bred to a different male altogether with none of the babies resembling these in any way so if there is something going on, it was in one of the males used that fathered this litter. Do you guys think this could be something co dominant? I have one of the females ready to be bred this fall so I should have an idea in the spring if I am lucky enough. Thanks for your opinions. Here are some of the photos. They all have a weird stripe near the head and the pattern seems reduced. Some have it more than the others. Almost all of their eyes are black and all of their tails are distorted.
