Bloods originated from El Salvador stock. It is a recessive mutation though.



Some breeders are working with pure El Salvador stock, others just keep them Central American. Other lines have Salmon/Colombian blood mixed in from the Bloody Salmon projects. Each seems to have its own look, which I think adds to the morph, and brings more potential. Personally I think it is good to invest in a little of each.
