Hopefully somebody on here has seen this or heard of it, but I'm a little worried about my biggest female boa. She gave birth to a bunch of pills this morning when I came home from work and me without even a clue she was gravid. Well, the yield was horrible although as most say on here, any live squirmy baby snakes is good. She ended up having around 20 slugs give or take one that I missed because it was crushed and 3 live babies, 1 of which stopped breathing shortly after birth. My dilemma deals with a "discharge" from the mothers vent that I must have missed on her first two litters or there is something really wrong with this one. I believe shes emptied herself of any leftover pills and I've got all the live babies I'm going to get but is it possible that a snake can have a pro-lapsed uterus? She's still been having contractions since early this morning (maybe about 8:15am or so) and I'm worried she's trying to push her insides right out. Hopefully with the couple of pics attached someone can either set my mind at ease or give me some helpful advice.
