Recently she has been introduced to her new cage mate Tilly. Tilly is a female leucosticte and is about 5 months old. Pickles the albino has not taken to much objection to Tilly for the most part. There are however some strange behaviors that I have observed and would like to know if I should be concerned. At times pickles will nip, not bight the other gecko but bully. I have only witnessed this on two occasions and it has been right before feeding time. When I purchased Tilly she was incredibly lively. I picked her right up and she would let me rub her and handle her with great ease. I brought Tilly home and she ate the first night very well and explored her new cage with energy. 5 days have past and she seems to not be taking food as much. Tilly also is not basking like pickles. When I try to pick Tilly up she swishes her tail in a slow but deliberate side to side motion and does not run. Her droppings matter looks healthy and her skin is fine. Does the new gecko need time to adjust or is something wrong? Thanks every one for taking the time to read and help! [ Hide Replies ]
