Posted by: spider916 at Sat Aug 5 22:15:11 2006 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by spider916 ] tonight i was sitting watching tv when i heard an awfull caughing noise from one of my balls cage. when i opened it up i found a small mass the size of a jelly bean. and a bunch of mucus with it. there was mucus on the snakes mouth as well so i know it was caughed up. when i examined the mass it was moving and looked like a tape worm. it was long segmented and white. it was flat in appearence not round. it came from one of my snakes that is still on live sm rats. weight is good, gaining with each weighing.i did recently switch my source for the live rats. could the worms have come from the rats. i feed frozen to all my other snakes. there isnt a vet in my area that deals with reptiles. can i use panacure to worm her. if so is ther an online supplier of it. i have seen the paste used for horses but dont know if that is the right stuff. if it is does some one know how to dose it for a ball weighting 700 gm.any input would br appreciated. | ||
