We have been working on this little rat (...you are what you eat; or at least what you should eat) for the last 7 months trying to get him (in the process found out it is a her) to eat. Finally she ate! We have gone through so many rat-cicles I don't even want to think about it. We had her checked out twice and everything was fine. We tried everything short of force feeding, we even tried live (she made a nice pillow for the rat as they both went to sleep... how embarresing!). Over the weekend we gave it another shot, left her be and the next morning it was gone (yes, it was f/t not live). We looked all through the cage (she tried to hide the last one so we would think she ate), no rat, and big bulge in the happy snake! Now we can relax again! Ugh! I need a vacations! Thanks to everyone who provided help and ideas, not a one worked with her but at least we knew we were not alone with the problem!
