well, i've been in this spot before, except with an adult, but i'll still throw some helpful hints in there. seal off the escapee's room, so that the area you have to look in isn't nearly as big. check under anything that ha enough room for a baby gecko to get under...which would be just about everything. most of all, don't get discouraged. when mine escaped, i had to go on a camping trip the next day. when i came back a week later, it came out looking around for me. maybe even set out a water dish for it? good luck to you.
