Well, I ALWAYS loved snakes, but, as others have mentioned, I have a mother who hates them... so I had to settle for a ferret, 4 tarantulas, a try at breeding Siamese Fighting fish (betas), some hamsters, a horned frog, an iguana, an emperor scorpion. It wasn't until my 9th year of marriage and 4 kids later (LAST YEAR - OCT. 2005) that I finally was able to buy a corn snake. By Christmas time, I had 13 snakes. At this time, I've got 9 snakes and am on this forum to oogle at all the others that I want! LOL.



I'm sure that things would have turned out QUITE differently if my mother hadn't been so afraid of snakes...
