"So basically I wanted to know about this whole fat tail thing? Are they born with bigger tails or does it come with time if they are kept in proper diet and temps and all that stuff?"
They are born with skinny tails but once they reach about 20 grams in weight, if they are healthy and kept in ideal conditions, they will start to deposite fat in their tails, bellies, and under arms.

"Also what about egg binding? Is it possible in leos or what?"
Egg binding can happen to any reptile that lays eggs. If environmental conditions or anatomy prohibits the female from laying her eggs they will be retained, aka egg binding. ----- Leopard Geckos 1.3
