Small doesn't necessarily mean she's not a good eater. That certainly could be a factor, but another factor is how the snake was fed by the previous owner, and like another poster said, whether its an early 05 or late 05. Heck, there's a whole year there! I have an 05 het pied female that I bought just over 3 weeks ago. She was 240gm when I bought her. She would literally eat every day, and do so like I was starving her. I weighed her this morning, and she is already up to 323gm. Conner saw her at the show that I bought her at. (Remember? I gave you the card from the seller.) On the other hand, I've bought larger animals that were "great feeders" that went off feed as soon as I got them home. The fact that they were yearlings, and larger animals testifies that the seller was being truthful. And I've bought problem feeders from others that have been great eaters for me.

Bottom line... if you like the animal, and you're getting a good deal, and the animal is healthy, why not buy it? She's obviously not going to breed this year, so there's no pressure there, but maybe next year.

Steve
