Good eggs should be white in color firm to the touch and not have an odor. if the color is off the egg could still be good (see posts about clear eggs). if it has fungus or appears to be sweating and wet to the touch (other than right before hatching) it will probably have a strong odor as well. remove it from the container so it does not hurt the good eggs. If you feel they might be good, put them in another container but don't keep them with the good eggs as fungus will spread. [ Hide Replies ]
