Like Flammy, I too raise Discoids. A great site for information on just about any roach is www.bugchick.com. The lobster roaches are going to be by far your fastest breeders. I started with about 40 Discoids (most adults) and it took about 5-6 months before I could start feeding any off. I highly recommend using the Roach Gutload from Cricketfood.com along with various fruits and vegetables. Bananas and romaine lettuce are my Discoids favorites LOL
I would also recommend breeding your own superworms, they take about 2 months to really get going but once they do you'll have them coming out your ears in no time LOL I have so many I need to start getting rid of some I was going through lots of them which is why I started breeding them, the smalls are great for hatchling Leos. I also raise my own mealworms, they have got to be the easiest feeder insect to raise. ----- www.StoplightCityLeopardGeckos.com
