Yes, more common exposure to flying makes people realize the fear is irrational. Some going to the movie are probably interested in this aspect of the thriller for entertainment purposes however. I likewise believe that most people recognize a fear of snakes is irrational (even if they suffer from it). I cannot see how a movie obviously meant to titillate is going to CREATE a further fear of snakes or flying. People who already kill snakes will continue to do so. People who don't fly will continue in that behavior. I really have a hard time believing that any patterns will be altered by this particular movie. | ||
