First of all Beautiful Pastel!!!
As for your normal - you should look for a nice size healthy animal that is established (feeding regularly not some fresh of the boat import).
For pattern and color - they say that the lighter the normal the nicer the offspring - and the less brown out you will find. This isn't always 100% true - but it's a good standard. Also you finding a clear belly.
You might want to consider doing pastel blackbacks or granite pastels or reduced pattern pastels - they might be a little bit more for a female - but not outrageous and the offspring may be wicked cool!!!
And lastly - make sure you sex the snake yourself - too often we see people buy females and they turn out to be males - if you sex it before purchase you could just save yourself a lot of unnecessary work and heartache.
Best of luck!!!! ----- Tosha
