Jared,

. That is a great PIC of a beautiful snake. I cannot take PICs that are as good as that so my tip is not how to take better PICs. My tip is how to sometimes make it easier to get the PIC you want. Rather than try to get up close to a snake that may not hold still I shoot PICs from a distance and use my computer photo program to crop the PIC down to just what I want to show. With our mega pixel cameras the amount of digital information in a full size PIC so far exceeds what makes a good image on the computer that this method usually produces a good PIC. If you want to make high quality 8X10 prints this method may not provide enough acuity.
