I no expert on the Desrt Iguanas but I think if they are eating after you having them for only a few days, that's pretty good, they didn't look all that thin to me, the veggie diet sounds good, it's debatible if the crickets are bad for the desert iguanas so I stopped feeding me Desert Iguanas any form of animal protein. You might want to get your temps up a little, my DI's do best at 115 basking and 95 cool side. When I feed my Lizards, I feed the Desert Iguanas first becouse one of my DI's will climb up my arm to my sholder and go with me to feed the rest of my lizards, they went from wild cought to lap lizards very fast, you're going to like having these guys
