males are generally thicker, act more dominant, wider head and have little "spurs" by the sides of the vent/anus. the females are narrower, narrower head, no spurs by vent. there can be a dominant female also to confuse you. you have 4 together now? how old are they? they can begin producing eggs in under a year, fyi. if the tricks listed above don't help, post a picture of the animals and some of the experts can guess for you....or i'll guess. i'm relatively new to ackies, but not monitors.
