I was going to post some pics but my digital cameras batteries died on the first shot. It was really easy though. I just laid 2' of the 12" heat tape on the bottom, Then I put a bunch of old pop bottles filled with water on top of that. Then I added some wire that I cut off an old bird cage, but plastic egg crate would work too. It is regulated by a herp stat thermostat. I put the eggs in containers and set them in. The bottles of water work as a heat sink and help to stabalize temps.
The biggest drawback is that they are not space efficient as they are not stackable. I would start with something else that is tall, like an old fridge. Plus you can get broken ones for free so It would also be cheaper.
