most boa constrictors get bigger than 4' which is what I think you said at first. You might find a 5' boa. You will have to get an adult to be sure. Otherwise even a small type of boa might still exceed that 5' length.

I have a suggestion too. The dwarf breeds like hoggs and tarahumara etc have been mentioned, but if you want a really upscale boa get a leopard! They stay small by boa standards, and they are beautiful. Not impossibly pricey either.
