Hey everyone,

Thought I'd post an up close and personal pic of my surprise baby snow boa. Last night, I tied off the excess ball of yolk and cut it off, as per the advice of some of you helpful forum members. The lil guy still looks pretty alert and appears to be moving about comfortably. I put him/her in its own shoebox and am keeping the paper towels moist.

As can be seen in the pic, the lil guy is definitely a snow boa. I've given up trying to understand the genetics at play at play here, and am simply focused on ensuring this lil guy's health and development is on track.

Anyway, here are the pics. Still a big belly, but I think I've noticed it getting a bit smaller. I'm gonna take pics everyday over here, so that I can track its development. That'll likely make for a pretty good reference for future similar situations.

Thanks for looking...Jay
