I don't remember which breeder said this, however with yolks that were tied and cut off, make sure you remove the string after it begins to dry/recede. It is possible (now this depends on how it was cut) that it can be drawn up into the body as the belly closes up and the string with it. I don't have any experience with this, and have no clue how it works, and if it is needed. I would talk to Jeff Ronne, Jeremy Stone, and Rich Ihle though, I think it was one of them that mentioned the procedure, but I may be wrong.
The baby seems to be doing great, and that is a testimate to your work and care. Good job so far, and I wish you the best!
