In my recent litter of baby boas there was quite a variety. Just wondering what kind of variations can be expected in a little of normal columbia boas. I'm quite sure they're all 'normal' but several have striped tails, one has the 'jungle' connected block pattern running up a portion of its back plus a striped tail, a couple appear anerythristic and a couple have joined patterns like in the arabesque pattern. Some are kinda speckledy like some ghosts I've seen.

I have no clue as to the background of the parents. The female is the one we rescued two years ago - she was nearly frozen and had a nose rub so bad she was breathing through her mouth. The male was a gift after being a pet store return. He's normal but with a pastel/salmon look to him.

I have read that gestation temps may have something to do with pattern 'abnormalities'. I thought she was plenty warm, but she had a nine month gestation....

???
