RE: problem with my female bp

i was going to buy a heat mat but i've heard lots of stories about heat mats and rocks burning snakes besides my rock stays pretty warm about 95 degrees to 100 if i put the rock under the light...should i keep my rock under the light ?...ive had it sitting off to the side cuz i was worried about burning the snake...its a flat rock thats really white...and shiny..looks like natural metal and some quartz in it so it gets kinda hot if im not careful
