Yes, there are those that would be inclined to do dumb things after watching movies. I'm sure some folks out there went out and killed lizards after seeing Godzilla. Maybe moths, too.
The "deadly" snakes in the movie are computer generated and look about as real as the rubber snakes you can buy at the zoo. There always has to be an antagonist in a movie, and this one happened to be snakes. And it is so over the top that you really have to be a moron to believe any of it! Who cares?? It's just a fun waste of time! (Keyword: fun)
