My comments were meant to be general and not necessarily directed at you.
Most every movie misrepresents something. This particular movie has to be recognized as a comedy. Boycotting gives the movie more respect and credence than it deserves or anyone would expect. If not for the "R" rating, this movie could be recommended to students and used to start a discussion on critical thinking, because even the most untalented students would be able to participate (yes, the movie is that obvious).
The truth about snakes can be conveyed through much more effective and constructive means.
