The nikon d50 DSLR with an upgraded lens (Sigma 18-50 2.8).

The trick is the white balance card I use. It calibrates the color to the lighting... 1/3 of my pictures taken were of the white balance card for color calibration.

The other "trick" is using ISO 1600, which allows for very fast shutter speeds... which means no motion blur that is usually associated with low light. The d50 can get away with shooting in ISO1600, many other DSLR's cant.
