I'm not saying this is the best way, but it can (and has) been done successfully. If it is possible, definitely keep them separate. It makes feeding and cleaning alot easier and safer. Or build (or buy) a cage that has an internal removable divider that you can use when feeding and/or cleaning. There are many ways to keep these animals but first and foremost do what is right to keep them happy and healthy. | ||
