Jungles were the first widely recognized aberrant Colombians and now many people think that aberrant equals jungle. It does not. There are many aberrant boas that resemble jungles, such as yours. Jungles are extremely clean. They have unreal color. They have bold markings that pop off their bodies. And not all jungles are aberrant. You can still recognize a jungle as a jungle even if it is not abberant. If your boas were not aberrant, you would not be asking if they were jungles. They don't have the color, contrast, etc. Again, aberrant does not equal jungle. You may have a new aberrant gene. You will have to breed them to find out. Every year many boas are born similar to yours. Sometimes they prove genetic and sometimes they don't. Your boas are very nice and if you have the interest, you should keep them and see if they prove out. However, they are definitely not jungles and should not be labelled as jungles, junglish, possible jungles, or anything close. If they prove out, perhaps you can coin a name for them. Good luck with whatever route you choose. | ||
