brett, maybe i was direct or short i am a smart ass i'll admitt. by the way i bought a suriname male from you last month because it had/has some of the characteristics of a suri that i was fond of as a kid. but here's the thing, when i saw that animal in the posting, i read the description and it was presented as an prime example of what a suri should look like, now maybe i missed something regarding freakish or something but if you know suri's like i think you do, you would agree that there aren't any suris like that in the world. my background was not mentioned to impress or flaunt, it was stated to make certain i was not speaking from books or hearsay, i got alot of emails from people impressed by the knowledge i have about the geography and history of the country/animal. alot of aninmals were bred by people to colombians because of what i explained, they were disclosed to the buyer that it was a cross, however sometimes that buyer breeds it and doesn't disclose it to their buyers and 12-15 years later no one remembers or knows the history, but here is the magic breed it and the truth will unveil. only crosses have the browning on the tail, and dont even argue it because its a waste of time. unfortuneately i left importing and breeding for the better part of the 90's and 00's now, however if you saw what i've seen, before all eyes were on albinos and hypos and salmons, you would freak. i visit tom crutchfield's shop almost weekly and even he says that the stuff just isnt was it used to be, and he's the first importer of 75% of EVERYTHING you and i collect right now, and its a crime that there is no progress with suris as there is with central americans and colombians, teach me how to post some stuff and let me back up my talk i am new and i apologize for being too frank, i just feel lets get to the point as long as we are having friendly discussion its all in good fun....no? thanks.
