Perhaps Not reported because they don't want people to know.. I have a Bumble Bee male that doesn't have head shakes but he can exhibit the twisting neck condition that many people have seen in their regular Spiders.. It is safe to say that the Spider gene itself does this so why would breeding the Spider gene to a Pastel be any different , the Spider gene is still there , no magic is done here , do you think the snake knows it's a pastel as well as a Spider???? Other morph genes would not be any more likely to cancel out the problem , if it was possible to rid this condition don't you think that a total outcross to a Normal would eliminate the problem?? Believe what you like, I think people just don't always run to Kingsnake to report what they see, fearing it would make them look bad or something ......
