I would say MOST (not all) people are getting into breeding for the same goal...supposed "$$$$"



I would also say that if "I want to" is the reason someone gets into breeding, they too have a goal...it might not be one of the reasons you stated, but "enjoying a cool hobby" is a good goal. That's why I play soccer...It's not to improve my skills or even stay is shape. It's because I want to and enjoy it...my goal is accomplished!



...so, I would say "I want to" can be a legitimate goal...just another way of saying "My goal is to enjoy it!"
