There was a very interesting story on the National geographic

website a while back about a baby hippo bonding with a

Galapagos tortoise. They would follow each other around.



They even vocalize between themselves which tortoises would

not normally do.

My Silverbacks & Hogs will hang out on the sofa with me for

hours without going anywhere. Scientists generally IMO presume

to know & understand much more than they really do...
