I'd have to say that 'CandyCane' is probably not a suitable name for this morph.

I think that when people hear 'candycane' in the herp world they picture an animal that is primarily RED and WHITE and somewhat BANDED a la 'CandyCane Cornsnake'.

Love em or hate em, corns have a tradition of setting the standard for many of the morph names used in herpetoculture.

Am I the only person who chuckles at the 'true ghost' label for the eventual combo of hypo and axanthic in a Ball Python?

What if someone produces a double homozygous albino and burgundy ball that is primarily white and red pigments? Would it then be labeled 'true Candycane'?

Please don't take this post as an insult.
It is mearly some constructive criticism.

Name it Candycane if you'd like, it just doesn't look like anything else in herpetoculture currently sold under the tradename of 'CandyCane'.
