Thanks for the info....BUT, I only stated that I had a snake in my collection do the same thing- ie: change color after a shed, PERIOD! I also stated that I have no idea what causes it!

"the loss of over wased browns happens to alot of balls every year as they go through ovulations or breeding cycles.they usually turn darker again later... "

OK...a six month old female cycling for breeding? She wasn't even a year old in the pic?!

Bottom line: Sometimes we don't know everything about everything, some of us just can't admit it!!
