a ringer has a "ring" are the body, usually near where the kidneys are.......the photo is my ringer female....

this explains a marker...takem from next world exotics...

This is one of those guides I was talked into doing. The problem with this guide is that the "Marker" has not been proven to be definitive. I have seen many normals with the "Marker" trait. Will they turn out to be Het Piebalds? Who knows, but I am sure NOT ALL OF THEM WILL! (most likely most of them will not). I will say this though, if a breeder hatches out a clutch of Possible Het Piebalds they will keep the ones with the "Marker" traits. So in closing there has been no genetic proof about this trait...
