Well do you want to produce alot of spiders as well? If not then I would go with the female.

Better yet you could wait till you breed your pastel. Hold back a few female pastels, and sell/trade your way to a male spider. He could them breed with some of your female pastels to make a whole hive of bees. If any of your normals go this year then it will only take 1 year longer than buying a 06 female. But with this year you can increase you bee output 5x. Also it may not take a year longer as you could hold onto the best feeders that may mature faster than a poor feeding 06'
