Why not? even if spiders drop to $300 next year which they won't it only requires you to sell 4 spiders to make your money back and everything after that is profit in 1 year. No other "INVESTMENT" can give you a return like that. Everyone needs to realize just because you don't make $30k off your $10k purchase still doesn't make the animals a bad investment. We paid almost $4k for our spider last year, the price has dropped to below $1500 and will probably be around $500-$750 next year and we should have no problem making our money back on his purchase price even though we are going to hold back spiders for further breedings. It's easier to produce quanity with co-doms and the prices reflect that but that also makes it easier to produce more animals for sell and thus equalizing the profit margin with recessives.
