I adopted this boa from my best friends' nephew. When she first presented this idea to me she told me that they're were going to give me the snake, set-up, everything just to get it off their hands because the boy doesn't like feeding it. I was thrilled...how often does an opportunity like this come along? I'm poor and in college, but I figured that adding an extra 15 bucks a month to feed this snake is a small price for the addition to my collection.

*However* The enclosure that the boy had her in is waaaaaay too small. Bless his heart, I know he had her out a lot, but there's no way that that animal is going to stay in my house in such a small cage. I thought that I could solve the problem by indefinately borrowing one of my dad's old aquariums, but I measured it today and it's only 1'X4'. My boa is about 6'. What should I do?

...because with two cats, one boa, and a cornsnake, who really needs a man?
