I've heard about people who have raised their dragons without UV lights and just dusting the food items with calcium w/ D3. But i would suggest that you get a UV light, that way you don't have to worry at all if she is gettin the right amount of calcium, also their colours seem to look better when they have UV light. Hope this helps!
