I can't tell you how many reptiles I have rescued from pet stores and I have one ball that I don't think very many breeders could or would keep alive it is 7 months old and not much bigger than most hatch lings it will not !! strike at any thing I have tried to make it and it just will not do it I have to put f/t fuzzies & hoppers up to his mouth and rub them on his lip and he opens up and I put the pray in and he closes and eats . He won't Even rub off his sheds the skin will be hanging off of his body like a stretched out sock and he just ignores it . He takes a lot of special care and attention but he is worth it. He is so loving and I know some say they don't have feelings but that is the ones that don't spend time with there snakes . but back to the size thing be proud they say your hatch lings are to big that just means they are eating and healthy and not shipped out before they have ever been offered or taken a meal. thats why you see a lot timers asking so many feeding questions because they got a snake at the pet store that in truth they can't tell you any history on or if it has ever or sell at a loss because they can't get it to eat. sorry for the rambling it just makes me mad .I am just tired of doing senseless rescue.
