ID from Indianapolis

A coworker found this outside the office and came and got me so I could check it out. First I thought garter because of the stripes, but the more I played around with it I thought it was too heavy bodied so I thought watersnake. It was very bitey and definatily musk me. I know I look like a wimp using a stick with such a small snake, but still haven't gotten used to being bit, but my 4.5' carpet is working on getting me over that...
