Most of the central americans are going to be smaller, but I don't think dwarf is a good term for most of them. Over a long enough time span they can get big, but big for a central american is going to be different than big for a BCC. My male and female hogs are close to the same lenght 7.5-8ft at 11 years old, but they are considerably lighter (weight wise) than a colombian or BCC the same lenght.
I think a lot of snakes in general get called a "dwarf" because they are sexualy mature at a smaller size, rather than them always staying small. Big and small are relative terms when it comes to all of the different locality types. So I'd just figure they always have the potential to get bigger than what the averge size stated is. ----- Ed Lilley, www.constrictorsnw.com
