Yes, as adults the bigger the cage the better. As babies though they do much better in cages suited for thier size. For babies the cage has to be smaller so they can sharpen hunting skills, and acclimate to new surroundings. One thing you can do for a baby is section off a smaller part of the large cage, and as he/she grows you can adjust the divider. Adults though will benifit from the large enclosure, My males get housed by themselves in 3x2x2 cages and do just fine. They are taken out daily to run. Females I keep in a larger cage 4x2x2 because if you get a female that gets along with another you can always house them together. Hope this helps. But the larger the better
