1 of 2 of my females that are housed directly beside each other refused her rat for the first time last feeding, i thought perhaps b/c she was going into shed (although she has never downright refused even when in this stage), however, this feeding her and the female beside her(also a consistent feeder) refused, so would you say it would be safe to assume they are going off on there on accord for breeding season? (i have noticed slightly lower temps in the house and in retrospect have coincidently been reducing there photoperiod)
or...would you reccomend i look for other causes in husbandry first. thx
...o, also any ball park(no pun intended) figures on average time they remain off feed? i have both heard and read such a wide range -4weeks to several months that im not sure what to expect
thx alot
