I posted a messege a few weeks ago and since then I have soaked her every other day and I took her to the vet this week, he gave her a blood test and called me to tell me everything appeared to be normal. But she still does the head thing.

Here is my original post:I have Hogg island boa, who started doing this head roll thing when I remove her from her cage. I have only had her for a few months and I have never noticed her doing it until today. She seems to have control of herself when she climbs and moves about; except when she has her head dangling off a branch or my hand. When she decides to go back up her body she flips her neck over to the point that I see the underside and then she straightens it and goes up. My only thought is that she got too hot, I had the thermostate on my heat tape short out so it was going unrestricted in the middle of this heat wave here in California, is it possible that she suffered a heat stroke?
