When it comes to a pastel cross, there are many many choices. Which is exactly why pastels should be in everybodies collection. If possible, if you can afford to, I would cross it with a visual morph and not a het. Definite hets are worth more, easier to sell, and MUCH better for your project. Since money is probably a big part of the decision, consider the following that are not that expensive.
As you listed, ghost. A male ghost can be purchased for $1000, plus or minus about $200.
A pastel male. Super pastels are a great addition to any collection and there is still a good market for these.
A mojave male would be nice. Pastaves are awesome looking snakes. Male mojaves are very reasonably priced.
Spider males are also a good choice but there will be lots of bees in the next year or two. Bees will be a great addition to any collection.
Don't forget about the YB option either. Just look at the price of a male YB. Very affordable and the market is not flooded with YB pastels.
The list goes on and on. For anyone with a breedable female pastel there are lots of opportunities, very affordable ones.
